 Accommodation All types of accommodation are common throughout New Zealand, including Hotels, Motels, Guest Houses, Bed & Breakfasts, Holiday Parks, Backpackers and Camping Grounds
 Climate New Zealand is in the southern hemisphere, therefore the seasons are the reverse of the northern hemisphere. During the 2011 Rugby World Cup in September & October, the season in New Zealand will be Spring, where average daily high temperatures throughout New Zealand generally range from 15-19C (59-67F) and daily low temperatures from 5-11C (41-52F)

 Driving   All motorists drive on the left-hand side of the road

Daylight Saving generally starts on the last Sunday of September, so is likely to occur during the 2011 Rugby World Cup
